Single-cell sequencing calls for high sample viability and RNA integrity, but biology does not always cooperate.
The Hive CLX scRNA-seq Solution allows for loading more live cells and recovering high-quality data even from low viability samples. For example, when viability is 25 percent, only one in four cells has intact RNA, and loading 10,000 cells may be insufficient. You would have to compensate by loading four times the total cell count (40,000 cells) to get the data you need.
This application note from Revvity describes methods for detecting rare cells and recovering fragile cells for scRNA-seq from low-viability samples with the Hive CLX single-cell RNA-seq solution.
